ORDER OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION For ADULTS (OCIA)

Would you like to learn more about the Catholic faith? Do you know someone who has expressed a desire to learn about the faith, or who you suspect may be interested? While RCIA is the common way for adults to join the Catholic Church, becoming a member of the class does not mean that you are committed to joining the Church. It only means that you are interested in exploring and learning about the Catholic Church with a group of like-minded people.

If you are:

  • Unbaptized

  • or a baptized Christian from a Protestant or Evangelical background

  • or you are high school age or adult, baptized Catholic, who has not yet had First Communion

  • or perhaps has never been Confirmed

  • or a Catholic who wants to strengthen and enrich your faith life

These classes are for you!

We partner with St. James, our Family of Parishes associate parish, to provide this educational experience.

OCIA classes are on Thursday evenings from 7-9 p.m. and will begin in September.  Classes conclude four weeks after Easter.
